Science is the study and knowledge of the world around us. This knowledge is gained by observation, experimentation and verification. Practical work is the most important factor in the study of science. GEM provides huge, separate and very well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The labs are equipped with the latest technological devices in order to support cutting-edge experimentation. A strong emphasis on scientific method is inculcated in students from the very beginning, and the three sciences are taught separately from Grade 6 onwards.
